Okay, so this is not in the right order, Jenni's birthday was actually April 28, but because I am so behind, I figure I better post her birthday. She had a great day on her special day. She had a field trip (of course). For her Sunday dinner at grams and gramps, she chose breakfast for dinner - yum. She had a birthday party the next week. She wanted a beach party (since she was born in Florida - it was only fitting). So we had a friend make a triple layer cake of polly pockets going down a massive water slide. We had Hawaiian music and the girls all got leis and bracelets. They had a really fun relay type race similar to "Survivor" and the girls ended up doing it 4 times. We buried shells in the sand and let them dig for it. It was a great party - a lot of work to get ready - I even hand-made the cards, but it was a smashing success. Jenni was thrilled with all her presents and at 10, feels more and more like a teenager.
